Iconic Wedding in Villa Tasca

An iconic wedding in Villa Tasca - Harris Reed’s Sicilian celebration was a stunning blend of romance and gender-fluid individuality. The historic villa served as a  perfect backdrop for this intimate yet statement-making event, featuring over 700 candles, exquisite gold accents, and a series of breathtaking outfits that Harris Reed designed for himself. Each look was a mix of masculine and feminine elements, showcasing his belief in breaking traditional norms. He started with a sentimental piece from his first collection, repurposed with a vintage veil, and later changed into a corseted bridal suit and other dramatic ensembles. One of his outfits was created by the Nina Ricci atelier in Paris, where Harris is the creative director, adding a touch of haute couture sophistication tohis wedding.

The ceremony was deeply personal and meaningful. It was led by Harris’s close friend and healer, Emma Lucy, who has been a source of support in his life. The couple incorporated elements from various traditions, including the Jewish custom of breaking the glass, honoring Eitan’s background.

 

The wedding dinner atmosphere was magical, with over 700 glowing candles creating a warm and romantic ambiance. Instead of traditional flowers, the couple opted for a candlelit setup that highlighted the villa’s stunning frescoes. For the after-party Harris changed into a "naked dress" inspired by one of his first bridal designs for Camille Charriere. 

 

This wedding was more than just a celebration—it was a statement of love, art, and self-expression. Together with Harris and Eitan we created an event that reflected who they are as individuals and as a couple.
