Farmhouses for a Chic Rustic Wedding in Sicily

If you dream of a wedding in rustic chic style filled with relaxed italian atmosphere, then your venue will be tenuta, feudo, baglio or masseria. These are all names for countryside farmhouses and villas that once belonged to aristocratic families and now became chic boutique hotels or authentic agriturismo. Many of them still belong to the descendants of important sicilian families and conserve particular charm of rural life. You will find them in the middle of endless fields and hills, hidden between olive or lemon groves.  Usually it's a square building with an internal court, built in rough stone, covered with ivy or  blooming bougainvillea. They're so cosy and chic in their simplicity!
